How to Choose a Limousine Service for Prom Night
By Paula DeBiasi
Prom is one of the most memorable events of your school years. Reserving a limousine can add that special touch to make the evening more elegant and memorable.
Selecting the right limo company is just as important as selecting the right dress or tux for prom night!
How do you select the right limousine company? The right limousine company offers:
• Experienced, professional and courteous chauffeurs
• Choice of vehicles and services
• Customer service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• A contract which details your services and rates
When selecting a limousine company you should ask:
• Type of vehicle: always have the total number of passengers available so the limousine company can recommend the best vehicle for your party size and budget.
• What services are included with the rate? Some companies will provide “package rates” others only reserve vehicles by the hour. If you prefer a pick up and drop off rate, ask for it. Keep in mind, some companies may include a gratuity for the driver in the rate, and some charge extra for picking up after midnight or extra stops, so be sure to ask what is included in your rate quote.
• Do you require a contract? What is the policy for late arrivals, cancellations and changes? Many limousine companies require a contract, read it carefully before signing and ask questions if something is unclear to you. A professional limo company will take the time to review the contract with you in detail.
