Pay per lead is the most general of all lead-buying programs, so it may have a slightly varied meaning depending on the service you go with. Typically, you would let the pay per lead service know what kinds of leads you’re looking for (lawn mowing, tree trimming, residential, commercial, etc.), and the leads in your service area matching those characteristics would be emailed or texted to you.
2. Pay per call
In this scenario, calls from potential customers that fit your criteria are routed from the pay per call service directly to your business phone number. If you’re typically on the go and would prefer for calls to come into you instead of having to reach out to leads, this could be a good option.
3. Pay per appointment
This type of program takes the leads one step further and actually books initial meetings with prospects and puts them on your calendar. You then pay a fee per booking. This is helpful if you find yourself doing in-person estimates a lot.

Helpful Tips for Buying Landscaping Leads
1. Buying a lead is not a guarantee that you will win the job. You still have to close the sale. Follow up on your leads as quickly as you can in order to have the best shot at making the sale. If they don't pick up on the first try, call again!
2. If you're using a pay per call service, make sure that you have a trained employee available to answer the phone during business hours. A missed call is a missed opportunity.
3. When someone schedules an estimate, show up on time! Do your best to make a professional and personable first impression. A little smile goes a long way.

Landscaping lead prices can range from less than $10 to over $50 - depending on the type of landscaping job. Lawn maintenance leads may be priced differently than leaf removal or tree trimming job leads.
