Comments From Our Pros

Answer: Yes
Explanation: Yes, a saltwater swimming pool typically requires less maintenance than a traditional chlorinated pool. The saltwater system generates chlorine on-site, reducing the need for regular chlorine additions. This can lead to more stable chemical levels and less frequent testing. However, saltwater pools still require routine maintenance, such as cleaning the salt cell, monitoring pH levels, and maintaining proper water balance. Overall, many owners find saltwater systems more convenient and less labor-intensive.
