Explanation: This is the new industry standard. I still keep my pools at 30 ppm. I use 1 tab a week to keep the cya in proper range of 30 to 50 ppm. Salt pool create their own chlorine but it is a high pH level which burns cya off the higher you set your generator the faster cya burns off. Tip set your generator at 30% with a cya at 30 ppm and just add a tab a week. You should keep a 3ppm FC or better always with this method. Note older the salt cell the higher the percentage will need to be a 1 year old cell my need to run at 40 or 50%, according to the brand.
