Lockhart's Insurance has been in business at the same location for over 30 years. We are in tuned to the DC Metro area market and we have brokerage agreements with several insurance companies to find the best fit for your business and personal needs. We are a member of the Trusted Choice Independent Insurance Agents Association.

What is the most common type of project or service your company provides?

We insure a lot of properties of all types in the DC area, whether occupied or vacant. We insure a lot of trucking and commercial auto exposures. Technology, business consultants, day care and assisted living facilities, office exposures, contractors, educational exposures, home-based businesses, retail businesses, and large corporations.

We do recycle and our building is up to code.

We would like to be know as trustworthy, caring, honest, and straightforward. We don't write business just to earn premium, we explore the risks our clients are faced with and provide adequate coverage to meet their needs.

Community awareness and involvement. The Lockharts are residences of this community as well as business owners. I grew up here and I've watched this community grow and change rapidly over a short period of time. We support our community.

When an application is signed the insurance company guarantees protection against loss or damage based on premiums paid.

Discounts vary with insurance companies. Our standard companies do offer senior discounts for personal insurance.

Providing insurance coverage for particular risks is a challenge. This is a very competitive market and the costs are associated with the coverage. Our innovative solutions is not to sell on price, but on the services we provide based on our experiences of determining the types of risk our clients may face.

Lockhart's Insurance has been in business for over 30 years in the same location in the Petworth neighborhood of Washington DC. We are licensed in DC, MD, and VA for personal, commercial, life and health insurance. We are in tuned with our community and network with many local business groups and government agencies.

Yes, we have received outstanding performance awards from some of the insurance companies we represent over the years.

What forms of payment do you accept? (cash, check, credit cards, etc.)
|

A:

We process payments directly to the insurance companies online via electronic funds transfer through their checking account or through their credit or debit card. We do not collect payments in our office. If we have a cash customer, we ask them to get a money order or certified check and we mail it directly to the carrier.
