Get references on your contractor. Make sure you can be confident they are going to be able to complete your project the way you want. Ask for a warranty.

We pave a lot of driveways. While we service all phases of asphalt installation as well as maintenence both residential and commercial the majority of our projects are driveways.

The question we get ask most often is how thick is the asphalt going to be. The industry standard is 2 inches. We lay our driveways at 3 1/2 inches. We do this to give you confidence knowing you will get the full life expectancy out of your asphalt

We recently paved a driveway where the customer wanted brick pavers at the entrance and on the sides. It was out of her budget so I recommend using asphalt stamps with her choice of pattern. We saved her thousands.
