We just completed a removal of a 400 year old huge White Oak tree, that was leaning toward and over the house. The tree was well over 100' tall nearly 100' wide with limbs the size of trees directly over the house. The house was on a knoll and the only access for equipment was over the septic tank. Several other companies turned the job down or the price was out of reach for the home owner. (A veteran who's wife had recently passed away) The tree had to be removed because the home owners Insurance company was going to drop them as a client unless the tree was removed. We were able to complete the job in 2.5 days with substantial savings to the customer. The trunk of the tree was still 50' tall and 5+' across, with a hard lean to the house. We used three methods of leverage and safety to safely drop it away from the house.
