What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a company like yours?
A:
As much as we love them, high tech tools and gadgets are not enough. A great inspector realizes that the most valuable tools are knowledge, experience, carefulness, and a flashlight. Properties and their systems and the problems that are found are normally simple enough to figure out by proper inspection methods. (hence the flashlight). Tools such as moisture meters, clip on ammeters, volt meters, gas detectors, etc. often confirms what an experienced inspector already suspects. If your shopping for an inspector, Credentials, client satisfaction, repeat customers, and a strong referral base are good indicators that you’re picking the "Right Guy". Sorting out the good marketers from the good inspectors should be as simple as Experience, Credentials, Integrity, and Happy Customers.

Curtis Nadeau (Owner) has taken special interest in, and is a promoter of a healthy environment. Special research in Heavy Metal poisoning and toxic levels in all of our fresh and saltwater bodies, streams and rivers. Curtis has taken special interest in radiation safety. We are in a new era where we are subjected to radiation at all levels from the Cell Phones that we have against our ears to the scanners at security checks. Not to forget the EMF's that are radiating from power lines, monitors, and transmission towers. Curtis is heavily studied in the presence of toxins in our food and water supplies. A healthy environment is very important to all of us. The more that we know and understand the better the chances are that we can make a difference.

What would you like your customers to know about your company?
A:
CHP Inspections is a service company that has not lost touch with what that means. We all hear daily and even say it ourselves that it hard to find good help or someone that takes pride in what they do. We want to find people that don't mind a little work hard. These simple fundamentals have been the core of what has made Curtis successful and what makes CHP inspections and those that are part of the team, an exceptional company to work with.
