Q:
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a company like yours?
A:
When hiring a company to "clean your concrete" by dry grinding and shot blasting we suggest that you schedule as soon as the tear-out crew has removed the old floor covering but now requires a profile for the new application to bond. Essentially all floor covering manufacturers require a certain "surface roughness" to ensure a good bond and also to provide the client with a warranty for their products.
We are here to do just that.

Q:
What is the most common type of project or service your company provides?
A:
We are typically asked to grind thin set mortar, wood flooring adhesive, black mastic, failing epoxy, paint, etc.
Q:
In what ways is your company environmentally friendly?
A:
There is nothing more environmentally friendly than seeing a beautifully cleaned concrete surface ready to receive a wonderful coating that should last for many years to come. :-)

Q:
What would you like your customers to know about your company?
A:
We're a friendly company to deal with. And I'll happily answer what ever concerns or questions you may have.
Q:
What is your company best known for?
A:
Keeping others on schedule.
Q:
What separates your company from the competition?
A:
I'll provide you with enough education so you can either do it yourself or just hire us for a few bucks more. Either way, its worth having the conversation and seeing which direction makes sense.
Q:
Does your company offer a warranty or guarantee?
A:
All we do is remove....what's existing and then make it pretty. Once your concrete is prepped to the CSP# of the manufactures specs you are ready to move forward. If we fall short of that profile I'll be back.

Q:
What questions do customers most frequently ask you? What is your answer?
A:
How much does it cost per foot and what is your min. job size? Most jobs are about a $1.50 SF and our job min. is $500.00 As a rule of thumb, just send me three images of the worst areas you have and I can probably quote that.
Q:
Does your company offer discounts to senior citizens or veterans?
A:
No, we love everyone the same.
Q:
Describe a project or service that your company recently completed (include challenges, costs, and innovative solutions).
A:
Each job is a little different, but a recent "worst experience" I had was showing up to a residential site and seeing a 1000 SF of beautiful engineered wood flooring just blowing off the concrete slab because their installer skipped a step. So, when you do the math the first time around came to 15k (labor+materials). Now to remove and replace will run another $18,500 + $1,500 for me. Wow, for 10% more (and a day of grinding/shot blasting) to the original the project would have stayed completed...lesson learned.

Does peer pressure count?

We do like the work and appreciate it.
Q:
Has your company received any awards?
A:
No, our work is generally covered and glory goes to someone else.
Q:
What forms of payment do you accept? (cash, check, credit cards, etc.)
A:
We are big believers in getting paid by check at the end of our job. We leave when your happy and we're paid. :-)
