What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a company like yours?

I would recommend to a new client not to get excited too quickly and push the design process, take your time, absorb the ideas, like a good meal give it time to marinate, you will be happy you did! Then focus on experience, creativity, and personality. Many can design, but few have the experience to understand how to build. Time and money spent in the design stage of a project will save you thousand of dollars when you begin construction.

We focus on custom residential homes and complete home renovations.

In what ways is your company environmentally friendly?

Taxes and Utilities will always be with us, especially after we pay off our mortgages. Designing homes that are efficient and well constructed saves our clients tremendous amounts of money over the years. If we design a home that is well constructed we eliminate the need for premature renovations, when we design and understand how the house works as a complete unit, we save energy and money. Focus on the details, the ones behind the paint!

Daniel Allen Designs has over 20 years designing homes and have built over 200 custom homes. With this knowledge and expertise we bring the complete package to our clients, good well thought out designs and the experience to oversee the construction.

How We Charge For Our Services

Architects - Residential
- $50.00 to $125.00 per hour (plus materials)
- $1.25 to $2.50 per square foot (design cost only)
- 3.00 to 10.00 percent of construction cost
Our billing is contingent on our clients needs, some clients want a complete turn key service with oversight from start to finish, while others are looking for a good set of construction drawings. We are flexible to our clients needs and requests.

Designer - Building
- $35.00 to $125.00 per hour
- $1.25 to $2.50 per square foot (design only)
- 3.00 to 10.00 percent of construction

- $35.00 to $55.00 per hour for original plans
