How We Charge For Our Services

Architects - Commercial
- $150.00 to $250.00 per hour (plus materials)
- 5.00 to 8.00 percent of construction cost
I set fees based on the level of services expected and agreed upon with my clients. Some clients want 'permit ready plans', some want 'contractor ready bid sets' and some want full interior design and construction administration.

Architects - Residential
- $250.00 to $350.00 per hour (plus materials)
- $15.00 to $30.00 per square foot (design cost only)
- 7.00 to 12.00 percent of construction cost
For residential work, I usually determine the scope of the project, the cost of the work, the services requested, and the timeline needed. Based on that, I set a not-to-exceed price and bill hourly up to that fee.
