What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a company like yours?
A:
Check references. The worst thing is to pay someone to grind your stump and then when you go to clean up you find out they didn't do a good job. Good luck getting them back. I guarantee a good job and will return if I missed anything. Also, don't forget about the roots. There is typically a mound at the base of most trees. This is due to the roots expanding over time and pushing up on the soil. If those roots aren't addressed, the job is not complete.

What is the most common type of project or service your company provides?
A:
The only service my company provides is stump grinding. Almost all of my customers are home owners looking to improve their property. Most jobs are one or two stumps but I have cleared fields of stumps as well. No job is too big or too small for my machine.

In what ways is your company environmentally friendly?
A:
Stump grinding takes a solid stump and reduces it to a pile of wood chips or mulch. In this process these chips are mixed with dirt from around the stump. Technically this is good clean fill but can also be used as mulch along a hedge row for example. If a stump is left rot in the ground it will attract ant's and other insects but the wood chips from the ground up stump do not attract ants. The bugs you will find in your wood chips would be the same as what you find in the mulch you get from the landscaper.

What would you like your customers to know about your company?
A:
The customer comes first - it's all about you!

Q:
Does your company offer a warranty or guarantee?
A:
Most times grinding the stump to a certain depth is all the customer wants, but if he has a specific need to have the entire stump and it's roots removed and conveys that to me, I will guarantee that is what he gets. In 12 years of service I have had to go back to the customer to grind something I missed four times. It's a bummer, but If I didn't do my job, then I'll go back and get it right.
