What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a company like yours?
A:
When looking to hire a consultant to work with, make sure that the consultant is well-versed in the specific area that you need help. Many consultants in the HR space focus on a specific area such as training, employee relations, benefits, etc. Many are considered generalists and are familiar in all areas of HR. Even if this is the case, be sure to talk through your specific needs and get a summary of how the consultant would tackle your project or issue.

What is the most common type of project or service your company provides?
A:
During my 20+ year career in HR, I have done pretty much anything and consider myself a generalist. However, the focus on my practice typically involved compliance, compensation, and strategic planning. I can also help to set up new HR departments, provide interim support as needed, or serve as an on-call expert for when those burning questions arise.
