My advice to you would be this....
Understand the difference between "doing it right away" and "doing it the right way". Most individuals do not understand what it takes to complete a job. A company can do it right away and finish the job, but it might not be right because They hurried the job. Or....
I can do it the right way (which is longer) but you will be happy knowing the company you hired went that extra mile to get it done.

What is the most common type of project or service your company provides?

The most common type would be re-facing of decks. I would keep the sub-structure and re-face the deck with new fresh boards and railings. Pressure wash and stain are always included when I reface decks.

I will save the customer as much as I can. Re-facing a deck will be 45% to 50% less in price compared to rebuilding.

The most frequently asked question would be, "Would it be cheaper if I bought the material?"
Of course, it would cheaper. There would be no markup and I would even pick the material up for the customer. All the customers would have to do is pay for the material over the phone when the store calls you to confirm I'm getting material. The store will send you an email receipt and I would get a paper receipt.

Yes, 10% to all non-active and active Military, Police, Firemen and Woman and even the EMT. All you would have to show is proof of service.
