In 1970 after working as a Manager and Trouble Shooter for 14 years at another Pest Control Company, J.D. Smith Sr. founded the J.D. SMITH COMPANY.
Beginning in Pinellas County, Mr. Smith and his partner soon expanded their operations to cover West-Central Florida. Their offices included Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, Hernando, Polk, Citrus, Levy, Lake, Sumter and Marion counties.
