What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a company like yours?

1st always make sure the prospective contractor is licensed, insured, and bonded- this ensures that the customers home and property would be covered if necessary. 2nd ask to see some pictures of prior work completed and as always get a reference or two and call them. Finally make sure that the contractor being chose is willing and capable of doing the specific project. Also communication is vital in a successful completion of the project and will ensure that at the end the customer is satisfied.

What is the most common type of project or service your company provides?

At J&R Const. we specialize in various aspects of home remodeling from frame to finish, so this usually brings more customers who are having a difficult time finding not only a qualified contractor but also one who is willing to take on a project that will most likely have several unforeseen areas of the home that may be in need of minor repairs to complete the project at hand. So basically a lot of our work is the work that a lot of local contractors are simply not interested in doing because of the cost/profit aspect.

Family owned and operated, and our main objective is to always do what the customer wants at a reasonable cost and in a time frame acceptable to our customer, our finished remodels or additions will always be build to code or above code standards with the customers questions and concerns always being a priority.

Aluminum Siding - Install
- $4.35 to $4.75 per square foot
- $425.00 to $500.00 per 100 square feet
I always check and see what the low and high average is in the area/region of the work to be performed is and i try to be a little below the average low, not only to generate more business but also helps the homeowner/customer in regards to any additional services they may need or desire.

Fiber Cement Siding - Install
- $4.35 to $5.00 per square foot
- $435.00 to $500.00 per 100 square feet
I look at the areas averages, both high and low and generally try to bill at the lower end if possible,not only to generate business but also to keep costs down for my customers so they can move onto other areas of their home improvement desires. Although there circumstances where the particular home will need more work than simply installing the siding it is then that the costs go up.
