What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a company like yours?

In fact, there are a number of important things you can do to make your move easier and cheaper before the arrival of the small shipment movers.
Inventory the items you are taking with you and go through that list again asking yourself if you really need to relocate all of them. If possible, reduce the number of your belongings to reduce the final cost as well.
Hunt down free moving boxes in decent condition either from friends who have moved house recently or from local businesses /supermarkets, bookstores, etc./ that are required to recycle most of the boxes anyway.
Use free alternative packing materials that you can find in your home – newsprint instead of packing paper for padding, towels, socks and other pieces of clothing instead of bubble wrap, and suitcases instead of cardboard boxes for your heavy items such as books.
Pack the smaller and easier stuff by yourself as far as you feel confident about doing a good packing job. Then, leave the toughest packing tasks to the pros.

1. What is their background and how experienced are they in the specific type of job that you need for your home?
Everybody deserves a break, but you don’t want your home to be a training ground for someone trying to learn the business.
It’s a very basic question, so don’t be shy about asking them how long they’ve been in the renovation industry and how long they’ve run their company.
2. Are they licensed? And will they provide proof of their general liability insurance?
It is important that your contractor is fully insured and capable of covering any accidents or mishaps that might occur while working on your project.
If your contractor is uninsured, they should not be working on your property. Remember, being licensed does not mean they are insured.
General liability insurance protects your home from damage or negligence of the general contractor, his employees, and any sub-contractors brought onto your property.
You may be a very trusting person but resist the temptation to take their word for it. For your protection, make them prove it with a copy of their insurance certificate and check the expirations dates. You can also call the issuing authority and verify the insurance is in force.

1000's Perhaps you can rephrase your question? “JTR MOVERS” as it is been used above, is a wider term than me and the answer I can provide. Nevertheless, have the below.
You see, I am a Team Leader, just one offshoot of the term JTR MOVERS. And if you’ll allow me I’d say it isn’t much for quantity. Again, I’d say it borders on many factors. Sometimes I get just 30 assignments for the whole month from a particular client and am quite satisfied. (These assignments could sometimes be in batches or just some one-off jobs, but they always come with good pay).
As that’s me a JTR MOVERS up above. Things can be very different for other “MOVERS.” They might record higher or lesser volume of tasks from a client. And for this I’d say it depends. For instance aPartment or BIG house may not have his eyes on four-five assignments from a particular client in a month.
