What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a company like yours?

#1 Choose someone who has lots of photos of their work and whose work has the style you're looking for. It doesn't have to be an exact match, but the muralist should be someone who is willing to put in some research to get you what you want. Some of my best work happened to be something I had never done before, but researched and learned so I could serve a client well.
#2 Look for someone who can explain their pricing system. There are many variables to consider when pricing a mural, but these should not be mysterious to you, the client. Make sure you get everything in writing. I do that consistently and follow through to make sure you understand every item on the price quote.
#3 Look for someone who respects your right to say no thank you. I will respond to your inquiries, let you know when I have your detailed quote ready, give you time to process, follow up once or twice, and then move on. I don't pester folks who honored me by asking about my work. I simply work on a first-come-first-served basis.

How We Charge For Our Services
|
Painting - Mural Painters
- $11.00 to $24.00 per square foot Pricing is based primarily on number of square feet and level of detail or precision desired. The more the square feet, the lower the price per square foot. The greater the detail or precision required, the higher the price per square foot. My minimum for any project within my area is $550. Outside my area, the minimum is $990.
The Client pays me a non-refundable sketch/design fee to design the work. The sketch fee is credited toward the total cost if the client decides to proceed. A 50% nonrefundable deposit is paid and work can begin. This holds their spot on my calendar and allows me to purchase supplies. The remaining 50% is paid at the beginning of the day work is completed.
