What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a company like yours?

Look for a direct processor that does not use independent sales organizations but W2 employees of the company where business ethics are instilled and monitored. Look for transparency in billing statements where a complete breakdown is given on your processing charges, Interchange Rates plus Margins on top. A merchant should b e able to easily identify what Visa/MC/Discovery/Amex are charging (Interchange Rates) and what the processor is charging (Mark-Up) with out any hidden monthly fees. Transaction data security is critical and could bankrupt a merchant who has not taken necessary steps to be PCI compliant. Work with a company that is dedicated and knowledgeable to protecting card data systems. Finally, merchant support is critical as well, work with a company with 24/7/365 customer service where you get a live person in under 10 seconds, no phone trees, no holding.
