What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a company like yours?

I would advice them to look at our website, so they can see all the services we offer. Have them check out our customer reviews on our website, on Google business, yelp or Angie's List. Then to give us a call or send us an email to discuss their project further. We usually like to set up an initial appointment to meet with you and get a look at the project. We do a lot of clean up jobs for owners of rental properties, real estate companies preparing a home to sell, busy professionals and seasonal clean ups.
I have a lot of repeat customers that have me come and do general repairs around their homes.
We do a lot of lawn care & pruning.

We use organic fertilizer & organic pest & disease management as much as possible.
I use upcycled material whenever possible for remodel or replacements.

We are a husband & wife ran company. Quality of service and customer trust is my top priority. I'm not interested in just making a quick buck. I'm more interested in building lasting relationships with clients that understand the value of having a good handyman. No, I'm not the cheapest handyman in town, but I believe you get what you pay for. I am someone they can trust to show up, be in there home, and to do the job right the first time.

We offer both Lawn & Handyman Services. We can handle all aspects of home maintenance both inside & out. This allows us to establish a relationship & allows you the convenience of dealing with one company. Being a small company you are going to only deal with my wife or myself.

Yes we offer a guarantee. You don't pay until you are happy with the job that is done.

Customers ask if we can help them out quickly if they are in a bind? My answer is always yes if it is physically possible.
Customer ask do you Handyman work and Lawn maintenance? Once again my answer is yes.
Customers ask how do you get things done so quickly? I answer "they call me the white tornado."

Describe a project or service that your company recently completed (include challenges, costs, and innovative solutions).

A:
|
We recently completed an insulation and drywall job in a house that was built in 1859. We were very excited about the project and are very happy with the end result. However we didn't exactly take into account the challenges we would encounter because of the age of the home. Even though it was being renovated to bring it to code. The framing was not uniform and the proportions were not what you encounter in todays homes. We had to figure out how to achieve an R-38 insulation rating in a 6" space. We ended up putting R-21 fiberglass bating between the rafters and then putting Polyisocyanurate rigid board at the end of the rafters. With this type of insulation it is going to outperform any normal R-38 insulation. We created a continuous air barrier so you end up with no thermal break. It will stay warmer in the Winter and cooler in the Summer. It was more work but the higher performance for the customer makes us happy with the outcome.
