Describe a project or service that your company recently completed (include challenges, costs, and innovative solutions).

A:

Recently we were involved in a demo of a bank. This included taking down equipment, inventory of all the equipment and shipping the equipment to the main warehouse. We were also responsible for taking the not needed equipment to a recycling center for demo, this equipment held important information. Our challenges included making sure we had enough packing materials to properly ship equipment and taking the equipment to the recycling center. Our team carefully planned the amount of materials needed. This was done from the inventory list provided. We did this so that the customer would not see delays with technicians running to get materials as well as keeping the cost down for the materials. We also made sure to have a way to transport the equipment both to recycling center and to ship the equipment. We took the not needed equipment to the recycling center first to make sure the information was projected. Taking a little extra time ahead of time made the difference in this project.

Lan-Tel Communications has an in-house staff of technicians that manage the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas. Depending on the project, throughout the state of Texas. Lan-Tel also works with technicians throughout the United States to enable us to help our customers with all their locations.
