Owners Philosophy
I believe we really only have two choices when we wake up each morning; we can choose to be happy or we can choose to be sad, the rest just falls into place with what choice we make. What I mean by that is we can either do the best we can with what we have, treat everyone with respect, do what is right and work the best with what we have been given, or not. The same applies with business, my secret to success is that everyone wins; first and foremost my customer's, then on down the line to the guy pushing the broom at the job-site. This is what makes me happy at work - when my customer's expectations have been exceeded, and my workers go home proud of the job they did. When problems arise we just work through them and resolve them. If we do everything with the win- win philosophy the problems are are far and few in between.

Ring Shank Nails Are The Best Choice
Ring shank nails, sometimes called deformed shank nails, are nails with ridges or grooves along the shank, the part of the nail that penetrates the wood. These nails have a much better holding power than nails with a smooth shank because the rings act as wedges to keep the nail firmly in place so that it cannot pop out. For this reason, these nails are commonly used in construction, especially for roofing, and they are readily available at most hardware stores in the form of boxed loose nails and strips for use with nail guns. Some stores also sell them in bulk bins so that customers can purchase just a few at a time.
The design of a ring shank nail looks a lot like that of a screw, except that the head is flat. The pattern of ridges along the shank of the nail can vary, depending on the manufacturer and the intended use of the nail. Some brands have very shallow rings that provide a small amount of extra grip, while others have much larger ridges.

Wood is a great building material. It is strong, lightweight, easily worked with tools and relatively inexpensive. The only problem with wood is that many varieties of bacteria, fungi and insects find it appetizing. When wood is in contact with the ground or moisture for any period of time, these organisms attack the wood. Untreated wood like pine will only last a year or two if it is touching moist ground.
Pressure-treated lumber is wood that has been immersed in a liquid preservative and placed in apressure chamber. The chamber forces the chemical into the wood fibers. The pressurized approach makes sure that the chemical makes it to the core of each piece of wood -- it is much more effective than simply soaking the wood in the chemical.

They completed our fence today. It was 25 years old and was in the same condition my husband's in; but I could replace the fence. They did a marvelous job and the neighbors are very happy as well. The price was right in the middle of the other estimates but I know the quality was better because the estimator clearly showed us the difference in materials and taught us about the different grades of lumber. We are happy!
I would definitely recommend them and will!.

I would give Troy 10 stars if that many were available. He has provided me with home improvements for the last three years -- everything from fence repair, fence replacement, interior painting, exterior painting, carpet stretching, electrical systems, you name it. Never have I had such excellent problem assessment, good options for what to do, and outstanding workmanship in improvements. For example, Troy nursed my old fence along until it
