6 Month Satisfaction Guarantee Sonitrol will give a full refund of your installation fee and remove our equipment from your premises if your system fails to perform as contracted and you are dissatisfied with your Sonitrol service within Six (6) months of the initial installation.

Sonitrol will pay you $50 if we do not respond within this time frame or are unable to repair the system, provided that the problem is associated with Sonitrol equipment and is not caused by misuse or abuse of the system, fire, flood, or an Act of God beyond the control of Sonitrol.
False Alarm Guarantee If you receive a fine for a false alarm, simply present the information to us within 180 days. If police were dispatched on an alarm not caused by your personnel, the telephone company, or an Act of God, Sonitrol will represent you in canceling the fine or will credit your account for the fine.

Sonitrol's audio detection technology was designed 50 years ago by a policeman with the police in mind. The Sonitrol system uses highly sensitive microphones strategically located throughout the facility allowing verifcation of the alarm condition from any point of entry.
In addition, magnetic contacts are installed on all doors. When the system is armed, the control panel sends a test to all microphones, calibrates the sensitivity, and places the microphones in a dormant state. When an impact sound greater than the calibrated threshold is detected by a microphone, the security system contacts our 24-hour monitoring center and transmits the sounds from your business to the sound analyst monitoring your system. If the sound analyst determines that the sound is non-threatening, live video clip if cameras are installed are viewed and the system is reset from the monitoring center and no dispatch is initiated, greatly reducing false alarms. If the sounds or video are determined to be threatening (glass breakage, prying or pounding sounds, voices, or footsteps, or an intruder is viewed), the sound and video analyst immediately dispatches the police, begins recording the incident, and then notifies the person or persons that have been designated by you to receive alarm information. In addition, the sound/ video analyst will keep the police dispatchers abreast of the incident as it unfolds, ensuring that the arriving officers are updated with the latest information about activity at your premises.
In most cases, the Sonitrol system commands a rapid police response because the dispatcher is virtually assured that this is an actual incident. Thus responding officers arrive prepared with the necessary lead time, resulting in a high apprehension rate. Sonitrol's documented average police response time was less than one half of the conventional alarm industry's results.
