What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a company like yours?

A:

My advice would be to be patient and look around for imagery that draws your interest. Save images or color samples that represent your personal taste so that when you meet me I can understand your personal taste, likes and dislikes. After all my job is not to create something that I like, My job is to understand you and create something that you will enjoy for years to come. Communication is very important in the preliminary stages of the project.

What is the most common type of project or service your company provides?

A:

The most common project my company gets involved with would be Murals, however we also do a lot of large scale Sign Painting. We also do decorative wall finishes that we invent specifically For the clients space. We also do custom artwork in our studio for clients. We have been known to paint wild food trucks too!!

In what ways is your company environmentally friendly?

A:
|
My studio does it’s best to be environmentally friendly by saving our paint and reusing it on future work. We also stop by local paint stores and request mistinted Paint that a customer did not want. Most often I can take those cans that were going to be thrown away and alter the color to a color I can use!

What would you like your customers to know about your company?

I’d like customers to know that they would be hard-pressed to find a more passionate and dedicated artist that has sacrificed and paid more Dues than I have. My dream since childhood was to be an artist, normally that dream dies once adulthood approaches and the rational world tries to discourage you from continuing on your path, family and friends will doubt you which is hurtful but you have to keep believing and be willing to walk through the fire to get to the promised land.

What is your company best known for?

My company is best known for high-quality work , Meeting our deadlines, and most importantly our versatility. Many artists that do murals tend to do the same style over and over and over. I can Work and just about any style. This is important because every client is different and has their own unique taste so I am able to give them what they want by being flexible and versatile.

What separates my company from other companies is our versatility and experience. Another thing that separates us would be our quality. No matter if the budget is large or small, I do not Leave the project or consider it completed until I am absolutely 100% happy with it and the client is 110% happy and content with it.

Our company does offer a warranty on our work, since every job site environment and or conditions are different and unique to each job this guarantee or warranty is written into that particular projects contract.

A:

The most frequently asked question I get would have to be where did you learn how to paint? My answer is through years and years of practice. Never give up.

A project that I recently completed was a giant school logo in the gymnasium. The challenge was the paint that was specified for me to use was rather transparent so it took a few coats to cover . Another challenge was the surface I was painting on was cinderblock and it was rather porous so trying to get a sharp clean line took extra time

Nilson Studio is located in Milwaukee Wisconsin and often travels far distances to create beautiful large scale mirrors and exquisite residential locations or along the walls of businesses or in downtown locations. We have created enormous murals and large scale graphics all over the country. Our work was featured on HGTV, the TLC channel, and DIY network! We would love to hear about your project !!
