What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a company like yours?

A few tips I will always tell a prospect:
1. Do your home work - whether you are in the market for a new provider, do not have a provider, or do have a provider(happy or not), benchmarking your current system by hearing out a few other options can only help - it is recommended that companies benchmark their current provider at least once every 3 years.
2. Find a provider that truly understands that their responsibility is to build a platform that fits your company, not the other way around. Many companies have systems in play that do not have the ability to be customized to your business needs, which forces your business to have to fit into their model. This leads to poor user experience, unwanted services that you do not need, yet have to pay for, and applications that do not integrate with your systems.
3. Make sure whoever you are talking to, can provide you with detailed information on the support you will receive once your company is onboard with their system. Just like people, no company is perfect, does not matter what company you decide to go with, issues and problems will arise, that is just the reality of it. The difference is in the service you get after your on board. Do not allow a company to just graze past the customer support portion during your sales process...have them give you detailed information on what you will receive. Too many companies have made this mistake, and realize in a very short time that after the deal was signed, the only support they get is when they call into their 1-800 customer service hotline.
These are just a few areas I would highlight if a company was looking for a new HCM provider.

In what ways is your company environmentally friendly?
|
A:
|
Here are a few examples of Paycor practices that were installed to aim at being more environmentally friendly:
1. Reusable Cups - When new associates join Paycor, we give them a welcome kit of Paycor swag, including durable, reusable cups. Not only are the cups a reminder to stay hydrated, they also dramatically cut down on the need for single-use plastic or paper cups. This simple green initiative is cost-friendly and new hires love their Paycor-branded cups.
2. Direct Deposit vs. Paper Checks - As an HR and payroll provider, we encourage all businesses to offer direct deposit. Each year, 68 million trees are cut down to produce paper. Eliminating physical checks can save millions of trees. Direct deposit doesn’t only benefit the environment, it’s also a major plus for employers and employees.
3. Green Teams - Self-organized, cross-functional groups of employees volunteer to educate, inspire and empower their peers around sustainability issues. Green teams identify and implement solutions to help their organization operate in a more environmentally sustainable fashion.
4. Motion-sensor Light Switches - Energy consumption requires the use of fossil fuels, which creates high levels of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions that harm our atmosphere. That’s why Paycor installs motion-sensor light switches throughout our buildings. It’s an easy way to reduce electricity consumption by eliminating the possibility of leaving lights on in vacant rooms.
5. Pay it Forward Days (PIF) - Paycor’s PIF days offer associates an opportunity to volunteer in their communities. Twice a year since 2015, Paycor associates have given their time to support organizations of their choice. This is a great opportunity to pick up trash, plant trees or volunteer.

Q:
|
What is your company best known for?
|
A:
|
One area Paycor is known for and very proud of, is our client retention rate. Paycor has a client retention rate of 91%. Our company's structure is built around a model that always puts our clients first. If you look at different companies, you will see that majority of their workforce falls within sales & marketing, leaving a much small percentage for customer support. At Paycor 60% of our workforce is based around customer service and product enhancement, with only around 25% focused on sales/marketing. We do this because we understand how important it is that our customers are always receiving the support they need.
