What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a company like yours?

Do NOT rely on pictures the potential contractor is showing you, they can be bought and/or taken off the internet. Go to actual jobsites that are similar to what you are looking to have done. Talk to previous clients about the contractor. Check that they are registered home improvement contractors with the state of NJ - all contractors are required to comply with all aspects of the Home Improvement Contractors act. Check with the NJ Landscape Contractors Association and see if they are members in good standing. Do NOT hire the company just because their price is the lowest, most often they are cutting corners to keep those prices low. And here is a list of the Top Questions you should be considering that we supply to our potential clients.
These are some of the most important questions that I feel a consumer should be asking a contractor before putting their hard earned money into a project with any contractor.
1 – Are you registered to work in the state of New Jersey?
Premium Aquascapes is a registered home improvement contractor as per the requirements of the state of New Jersey. Premium Aquascapes owner Pieter van Westervelt has 33 years experience in the landscape industry and over 25 years experience in the field of aquascaping. Pieter also continue to further his knowledge & that of the staff’s by attending seminars held throughout the year across the country. Through our on-going education we have gained extensive knowledge in Aquatic Plants, Fish Care & Health issues, and the latest water gardening methods. Besides traditional waterfeatures we create rain water harvesting systems which can be tied into our waterfalls. We capture, filter & make the water available for watering plants, washing your car or anything else where you dont need to be using drinking water. By adding one of our waterfalls it keeps the water fresh & available for birds and/or other wildlife that depends on fresh drinking water to survive.
