What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a company like yours?

Make sure your land surveyor or engineer has the proper training and experience with the job you're hiring them to complete for you. Also, make sure they are licensed and in good standing with the State Board of Licensure.

What is the most common type of project or service your company provides?
|

A:

We typically help land owners with finding their lot corners for either building a fence, for obtaining a new mortgage on their home, or when they are planning some commercial or retail project. ALTA Surveys are popular for commercial properties. We also do engineer designed septic systems.

How We Charge For Our Services
|
Boundary Survey - Residential
- $0.60 to $1.00 per linear foot of perimeter
- $475.00 to $750.00 fixed fee for residential boundary survey (up to 1/2 acre)
We try to estimate the time & effort for each job and give a minimum and not to exceed number for all surveys.

Engineers - Land Surveyors
- $120.00 to $140.00 per hour (principal surveyor)
- $140.00 to $160.00 per hour (two-man crew)
- $0.60 to $1.00 per linear foot of perimeter
- $475.00 to $750.00 fixed fee for residential boundary survey
- $600.00 to $900.00 fixed fee for elevation certification
We try to estimate the time & effort for each job and give a minimum and not to exceed number for all surveys. We also require a retainer amount of 50%.

Engineers - Perc Testing
- $600.00 to $700.00 fixed fee
The fixed fee is for a conventional septic system, for soil testing and preparation of the Health Department paperwork. You pay the Application Fee to the health department.
For Engineered systems the cost ranges from $1200 and up, depending on the size of the project.
