Q:

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a company like yours?
A:
Make sure you know what kind of materials the contractor is using. There is a huge difference in cost and quality of deck boards and will skew the cost estimate but the quality will not be there and it will show before a year has passed (cracking and cupping boards)make sure everyone bidding your work is using premium pressure treated products.

Q:
What questions do customers most frequently ask you? What is your answer?
A:
Should we use wood or composite materials. Wood decks will last as long as composite materials as long as the wood is maintained. The maintenance of the deck of 300 sqft should be approximately $1,200.00 every 18 months. That would make the break even point about 8 to 9 years out. So you pay back the up-front costs in under 10 years.
