The material list will be separate and can include new breakers, wiring, boxes, and pvc pipe.
EV Charging Station (Home) - Install
- $500.00 to $1,000.00 for level 1 charger (120 volts) - $800.00 to $1,400.00 for level 2 charger (240 volts) The costs of installation for these charging equipment also vary significantly.
Fire Protection Systems - Install or Repair
- $70.00 to $120.00 fixed fee per smoke detector - $1.00 to $2.00 per square foot (for fire sprinkler system) - $1.50 to $2.50 per square foot (for fire-resistant wall panels) - $400.00 to $900.00 fixed fee per fire door In cases where a building does not have a fire sprinkler system, the cost of a fire alarm system will be more expensive because initiating devices will need to be placed throughout the building and more notifying devices are usually required. Not having a fire sprinkler system means the fire will continue to rage until the fire department shows up so there is typically more property damage and more need to notify occupants. The size of the building will also have a larger impact on the cost of fire alarm systems.

How much you’ll have to pay for labor depends on the size of the generator, the location of the installation, your location (contractors in urban areas tend to have higher rates), and the complexity of the project.
