Q:

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a company like yours?
|
A:
|
It's important to find these 5 things when selecting an Interior Design Firm for your project:
1. A great portfolio that demonstrates a range of style and abilities, and matches well with the aesthetic you are trying to accomplish for your space.
2. The ability to run a full project, or to focus on a specific part of the project that is most important to you as the client.
3. A Principal/Owner that is fully involved in the day to day functioning of the business, and someone that you believe you will enjoy working with over the next 3, 6, or 9 months.
4. An Owner/Principal that has designed their own commercial office space (this will provide 'real world experience' of being in the clients' shoes and an understanding of how the budget plays into the big picture of the project)
5. A Design team and principal that takes the time to walk you through their process, and who can speak to you on a relatable level (not too much jargon or industry-speak). We often work with clients that have never built or designed an office before, so being able to address their questions and concerns as well as asking the right questions to guide them through the process is really important. It takes time, expertise, experience and a well-rounded design team to handle projects of the size and scope that we handle on a regular basis (we have completed projects of over 100,000 square feet)
