What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a company like yours?

When looking to have a mural painted, it's very helpful to know the dimensions of the space ahead of time. Standard pricing is $15 a square foot. That figure can change depending on the difficulty of the piece, but it's definitely the jumping-off-point in negotiations.

I am a jack-of-all-trades in terms of art. I can produce everything from sculptures to family portraits. However, murals and chalkboard signage are my most sought-after pieces.

Tell us a little about your company.

SugarFox is a company I recently began after leaving my job as a full-time sign artist. I wanted to be my own boss and work more creatively. I produce sculptures at home made from trash and recyclables and take commissioned jobs for paintings and murals in between. I love the work and approach every new project with enthusiasm and a desire to make it better than the one before. It's truly a pleasure creating something new everyday.
