Q: What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a company like yours?
A: Every company has something they are good at, whether it's laying a concrete foundation, maintaining accurate financial documentation, or producing handbags. Staffing agencies are no different, only we're good at finding and vetting new employees. I field calls every day from business owners who are worn out by placing ads, the interviewing and background investigation process, and onboarding people. Why? Because it's not what they do, and they don't do it very efficiently or effectively. There is an art to finding the right person for the job, and it takes years of practice and research before becoming proficient. Few know the importance of stating the salary range, showcasing your company culture, utilizing keywords, or having an innovative title in getting the right people to reply to their classified ad. They don't have the time or the understanding of what to look for in a resume or interview to indicate that a person may not be telling the truth, and may not fully realize the positive effect the right new hire can have on a business, nor the lasting negative one the wrong person can have. The best advice I could offer is to consider a temp-to-hire procedure for all new employees. It starts off with eight hours (or a full shift) to get to know a candidate and have them on-site for a working interview. If they want to proceed, for the next 90-days this prospective employee remains technically an employee of the agency, as we're responsible for worker's compensation, unemployment, and general liability insurance, as well as payroll; and if at any time, they decide their not working out, they simply notify their contact at the agency, who will handle releasing the candidate on their behalf. However, if at the end of the 90-days, they notify us that they want the person permanently, then we assist with the transition. A: We really care about people, we're in this game to make the world a better place. If you don't take good care of your people, then you get back from them what you're putting in...and you likely wouldn't make a good prospective client for The Daniel Group.

A: The extensive background research we do on our candidates, it's really what separates us.

Q: What separates your company from the competition?
A: The extensive background we do on every candidate. They all have been vetted thoroughly, drug-screened, and we have gotten to know them personally. Few, if any of our competition, goes nearly as far as we do.

Q: Does your company offer a warranty or guarantee?
A: Yes we offer an 8-hour guarantee, it functions as an on the job interview, giving the employer the time to assess the person they're considering, and if they decide they won't work out they don't have to pay for that day.

Q: What questions do customers most frequently ask you? What is your answer?
A: They usually ask if they are still free to do their own recruiting and hiring, or are restricted in any way. The answer is NO! They are still able to recruit and hire people on their own, for that matter, they could even enlist the help of multiple agencies. That said, the goal is to take this off their plate, freeing up time so they can focus on the function of their business that makes them profitable. Once trust is gained, ideally, they would turn all hiring over to us, to the point that when someone contacts them with interest, they direct them to reach out to us to be considered for employment.
