Organic Frozen Shrimp Processing, Packaging and Exporting
Las Brisas International understands the importance of quality, consistency, and traceability, and therefore will be certified by the NQA and BAHA for HACCP approval and will be ISO 9001:2010 certified by the second quarter of 2014.
The Las Brisas International organic processing plant was designed to handle 60,000 lbs. of shrimp in a normal eight (8) hour shift ( 2 shifts per day is the goal) and can produce a variety of value-added presentations. However, the key to being able is to produce a quality finished product requires an input of high quality raw product. To ensure that the very freshest product is delivered to the processing plant three key critical factors are optimized and tracked, Harvest Method, Temperature, and Time.
Las Brisas International developed a harvest method that is fast paced, efficient, and in using our pure ice, makes certain that the absolute freshest product is delivered to the processing plant. A typical harvest for Las Brisas International is completed

Las Brisas International’s primary processing receives chilled raw farm shrimp, cleans and prepares the shrimp product, and packages it for export directly to the end user or to a secondary processor. The Las Brisas International shrimp product will be branded, “Au Naturel”, alongside “Shrimp That Won’t Shrink”
