Boiler or Radiator Heating System - Install
- $5,900.00 to $8,500.00 for 40-80 mbtu/hr gas boiler (high-efficiency, +90% afue)
- $4,000.00 to $5,500.00 for 80-120 mbtu/hr gas boiler (mid-efficiency, 80-84% afue)
- $3,800.00 to $4,900.00 for 40-80 mbtu/hr gas boiler (mid-efficiency, 80-84%)
- $6,300.00 to $9,000.00 for 80-120 mbtu/hr gas boiler (high-efficiency, +90% afue)
My billing philosophy is as follows. I have the price of the boiler. I have all the materials to install boilers. I have the insurance to carry for the installation. I have the advertising to pay for. I need to make my labor allowance on all jobs sold. I am backing this with a warranty. Also backing with 1 year labor.

Boiler or Radiator Heating System - Repair
- $99.00 to $1,000.00 per hour (plus parts)
It all depends on the problem with the boiler. The basic service charge is $99. That covers the 1st hour of labor. Any parts that are defective are extra. It can range from a thermocouple to a circulator pump. Some of the circuit boards are very expensive as well. So that is my price range and the reasoning behind it. Also the gas that is consumed, the insurance on the truck, the advertising. Insurance for an accident in home, and also workman compensation, incase my mechanic gets injured. Need to make a profit to pay for all of these things and to put a dollar in my own pocket. Thanks for the question.

- $2,200.00 to $3,800.00 for 80,000-100,000 btu electric furnace (mid-efficiency; 80-84% afue)
The cost of the furnace. The insurance I need to do this kind of work. The general liability insurance. The workman compensation I need to carry for my workers. The materials needed to install correctly and beautifully. The man hours it takes to install one of these furnaces correctly. It could be a easy service call. That would be the minimum $99. It could be a fuse, that would be $8. It also could be a circuit board they could range from $250-$750. It could be a blower motor, the price could be $575-$900. It could be a variable speed motor. that is over a $1000.

- $2,100.00 to $2,400.00 per unit - 2.5 ton
The price of the heat pump. The danger in recovering the refrigerant. The workman compensation. the general liability. The gas it takes to drive there and back. The materials needed to install properly including the refrigerant. The special tools needed to install properly such as the vacuum pump and nitrogen. .
