We were extremely happy with our recent Home Inspection in CT by Kenneth. He was very thorough and informative. The details in his report are very helpful being a first time home buyer and we appreciate the time and recommendations that he gave to us. Kenneth was very Professional and truly cared about the condition of this house and how it would affect us overall. I will be recommending him to many people who I know are in the market for buying homes.

Kenneth Askildsen helped us with our Home Inspection for our first house at 48 Baker St in West Haven, CT. He was he arrived early and on time. It took approx. 2 hrs to complete the inspection. But to me he was very thorough in doing his job and answered all questions I had and was very detailed in what he was doing when doing it. As a first time homebuyer I didn't know what to expect so what he did was a great experience for me. Everything went very smoothly. To me his job performance was very good and very professional and I would recommend him to any one for home inspection. He couldn't have done any better than what he did and again was very professional at what he did. Awesome Job, Kenneth!!

Ken was excellent. He showed up early for the home inspection and was already working on the outside of the home before we got there. He was extremely thorough and paid very close attention to detail taking many photos of the home. He also answered all of my questions and showed me how the different areas of home that needed attention, how the mechanical systems worked and also runs a serial number check for the appliances for age and and past or future recalls. His report is very thorough and detailed and his fee was very reasonable. I would recommend using him, a very nice guy to work with.

Ken was great to work with on our home inspection. If you are looking for a true professional who won't cut corners, I highly recommend Ken. We needed our radon test to be in the home for 48 hours and Ken set out with little notice to get the equipment in on the seller's clock so that we would not run into any obstacles. Thanks so much Ken! We appreciate the time you took to do a great and thorough job for us.

In this instance Ken was contracted to paint exterior of my cape-style house, making replacement/repairs where and as needed. Corner boards and skirting needed to be replaced and some clapboards, in addition to the regular prep work. Not all painters are professional carpenters, and vice versa. Ken is both.
He has done a great deal of other carpentry work for me, but a special project was making a cedar closet in a corner area upstairs where the ceiling was slanted and nothing was square or level. Result is an enviable closet for coats, suits/skirts, and shelving for sweaters, etc.
The length of time for the jobs was appropriate to the size of each project. Ken takes pride in his work and is fussy about the result. I believe speed does not result in good work.
You could not ask for a nicer, more respectful person to have working around or in your home. I now count Ken as my friend.
