What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a company like yours?

1. MAKE SURE THE COMPANY UNDER CONSIDERATION IS LICENSED, BONDED, AND INSURED:
Visit the company's website and check to see that it's licensing, bonding, and insurance information is prominently displayed. It should be, and if it is not, this is obviously a huge red flag. In case of problems with your installation, lack of licensing and bonding leaves you with little legal recourse. In any case, you should check for yourself as some companies have been known to fake licensing information on their sites.
2. DIG DEEP: Now that you’re ready to talk to a window tinting company, make sure you dig deep into its capabilities. Ask questions such as: How long have they been in business? Do they offer Materials and Workmanship warranties? How much experience do their installers have? What is their Customer Service Policy? What makes them stand out from their competitors? Do they have references from previous customers? These, and any other questions you might have about them, are fair and justified - after all, it is your money. Sadly, it needs to be mentioned that certain local window film companies make performance claims for their films and/or manufacturer warranties that are just not true. The old adage is true - if a claim sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't. If in doubt check with the manufacturer. Lastly, as a general rule, if a window film salesman for a given company spends more time telling you why you shouldn't use their competitors rather than how they are different or better than their competitors, you probably don't want to do business with them... Absolutely! In fact, we, and also our manufacturers, offer a number of warranties and guarantees that eliminate any risk to you. We offer the following MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP WARRANTIES: A Limited Lifetime (residential) or 12 year (commercial) Materials Warranty from the manufacturer for Solar Gard and Panorama films, A Lifetime (residential), and up to 15 year (commercial) Materials Warranty from the manufacturer for ASWF films, dependent on the film type selected, and a 5 year materials warranty from the manufacturer on all applications for Solyx films. Solar Gard, Panorama, and AWSF films come with a 5 year Glass Breakage, 3 year Seal Failure Warranty. These warranties are limited only in that they are not transferable. Therma Shield Solar Control offers an Exclusive Unlimited Transferable Lifetime Workmanship Warranty against lifting, peeling, bubbling, or other workmanship defects on any film installed by Therma Shield.
WE ALSO OFFER A LOW-PRICE GUARANTEE. Because my overhead is lower, I can usually offer my clients the most reasonable price in the area. If one of my legitimate competitors bids the same work at a lower price, just show me their bid, and I will beat their price by 5%...

No job too big...or too high!
Some window film jobs feature beautiful view windows that are high in the air, and we've spent our share of time over the years on top of 14 and 16 foot step ladders. There are some jobs though, like this one, that require the use of a man lift. No problem. CASE STUDY - WOOD BLINDS TURNED INTO RADIATORS
Situation - Case and Jamie's beautiful Lewiston, Idaho home features large upper and lower West facing windows that give gorgeous sunset views, but the blazing afternoon sun turned those windows into a source of discomfort for Case and his family. The back side of my house is a SW exposure. Two bedrooms, kitchen and large sliding glass door. I had the sliding door film installed by the pros and then did the smaller windows myself since I enjoy DIY projects. They cut the film for me which made the job much easier. Tricks I learned: Windows must be 100% clean, be patient, lots of soapy water, the film does not dry instantly, you have time to work with it. Great service, great products. Looking fwd to saving on A/C costs next summer.

My husband and I are very pleased with both the product of Therma Shield and the customer service provided. We had 9 floor to ceiling windows covered plus 2 triangular windows at the top of our sunroom. Although it still gets quite warm in the room, we can at least sit there much more than we could before when it has been in the 90's. The glare is significantly reduced, which is a great improvement, as well. We were extremely pleased with the professionalism and friendliness of the Draeger team. They were so thorough and fastidious and worked with our schedule. We would definitely recommend them!
My overall experience was wonderful
My overall experience was wonderful. I received a large packet of information prior to the install that answered all of my questions. When they came to my house they were extremely friendly and very respectful. They even took the time to explain to my curious children what they were doing. I felt they had a genuine concern to ensure that I was a satisfied customer. The end result of the product is better than I thought and I have already booked them for additional windows. Alex and Laura were very professional in all our interactions. We had film installed on our lake cabin windows that received hot afternoon sun. The glare created so much heat it would literally melt food left on the kitchen counter! Our first afternoon after the film was installed, we could immediately feel the difference. We were especially appreciative of the list of residential references they sent us, as well as business locations where we could actually see the different films installed before making a final decision. - $5.00 to $9.00 per square foot (basic solar film)
- $7.00 to $10.00 per square foot (security film)
Each installation price will vary slightly because there are many variables that affect the pricing. Factors such as window size and square footage, framing material, and height from the floor all affect the final price. Distant customers may also pay a mileage charge. Having said that, because of our low overhead, we can generally offer the most reasonable price in the area (See information on our Low-Price Guarantee, above).
